By Car
From Fort William, follow the A82 north towards Inverness until you reach Invergarry. Immediately after the bridge, turn left taking the A87 towards Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye. Continue on this road and at the junction with the A887 turn left continuing to follow the A87 towards Skye. Stay on this road until you reach Shiel Bridge, where there is a general store and petrol station on your left. The turning for Ratagan is next on the left. Follow the road for approximately a mile, going over a cattle grid. Turn right at the next junction and follow the road into Ratagan village. The drive to Craigellachie is directly opposite the sign for the Youth Hostel.

From Inverness, take the A82 south towards Fort William until you reach Invermoriston. Take the A887 on the right, which is on a very sharp bend in the road and is signposted to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye. Continue on this road, which turns into the A87 after approximately 13 miles. Stay on this road until you reach Shiel Bridge, where there is a general store and petrol station on your left. The turning for Ratagan is next on the left. Follow the road for approximately a mile, going over a cattle grid. Turn right at the next junction and follow the road into Ratagan village. The drive to Craigellachie is directly opposite the Youth Hostel sign.

From Kyle and the Isle of Skye, follow the A87 South towards Fort William. Drive through Inverinate and continue on the road, passing the Kintail Lodge Hotel on your right. There is a sharp left hand bend in the road, shortly after which is a turning on the right towards Ratagan. Follow the road for approximately a mile, going over a cattle grid. Turn right at the next junction and follow the road into Ratagan village. The drive to Craigellachie is directly opposite the Youth Hostel sign.

By Plane
The nearest airport to Grants is Inverness, which is approximately an hour and a half away by car. Inverness airport is now served by a range of flights from various airports around the UK and Europe. There are a number of hire car providers at the airport.

By Train
The nearest train station to the property is Kyle station, which is approximately 17 miles away from Grants. The sleeper trains from London Euston go into either Inverness (where you can catch the train to Kyle) or Fort William, both of which are about an hour and a half away by car. You can hire a car from Fort William or Inverness train stations. You can also travel by coach from Fort William.

By Coach
Shiel Bridge, which is approximately one and a half miles from Craigellachie, is served by a number of bus and coach services from Inverness, Glasgow, Fort William and the Isle of Skye.
